What it does
Three looks
Aurora, Ember and Mono. Click one and it applies at once. The preview shows the real cursor files, including the animated busy ring.
Trail, ripples and size
Trail and click ripples, each a toggle, drawn on one click-through layer that exists only while something is moving. A size slider from 16 to 128 pixels, scaled for your monitor.
Your own cursors
Import your own .cur, .ani or .png files. A .png becomes a proper multi-size cursor.
Built so it cannot strand you
Your original cursor settings are written to a small journal file before anything changes. If the app is killed or crashes, a helper puts your cursors back. Restore Windows Default is a big button that is always visible.
Light on your computer
Measured on Windows 11, one 3440x1440 monitor at 200% scale: idle, 0.00% of one core and 37 MB. Pointer moving fast and clicking with effects on, 3.9% of one core; effects off, 0.2%. No hooks, nothing injected into other programs. GPU use was not measured.
Command line
Run it from the command line to apply a look, restore, or --uninstall. It never starts with Windows unless you add it yourself.
Who it is for
- Windows users who want different mouse cursors and an easy way back to the default.
Honest limits
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. It uses the .NET Framework that ships with Windows.
- The program is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run.
- Tested on one monitor. Per-monitor sizing is in the code but has not been seen running across two screens with different scaling.
- Not tested with any particular game or anti-cheat system. It does not touch game processes and does not draw cursors inside games.
- Windows will not load an animated .ani whose frames hold five or more sizes, so an imported file built that way may be refused.
