What the lights mean
- Ready, locked, your own actions
- Hermes thinking
- Hermes running a tool, transfers
- Notifications
- Completed; system nominal (the dot)
- CAUTION: a measured condition needs attention
- CRITICAL: a verified system condition, or a refused password
The P in the corner is the PoppyOS Glyph, drawn here from the same geometry, colours and timings as the operating system. On this site it lights only for real events: it draws once when the page loads,
pings blue when you point at a product, sweeps green when you point at a Buy button (a confirmation animation; nothing is bought until you press it on Gumroad) and shows amber on a page-not-found page.
It carries no data about you or your visit, and it stays still if your system asks for reduced motion.
PoppyOS
PoppyOS makes small tools that keep your data on your computer. Products are sold through Gumroad, which handles payment and sales tax.
This website sets no cookies, has no analytics or advertising trackers and runs one small script from this site only, for the lights.
